Kamloops Is Getting An Extreme Trampoline Park
Oct 18, 2017

ahali Mall is about to get three new tenants and one promises to be a hopping good time.

Workers are in the midst of constructing a 27,000-square foot extreme trampoline park next to Bold Pizzeria. Jump 360 will be the third tenant in the old Target space, where Planet Fitness and Value Village are also opening.

Part owner Jason Posti said Jump 360 will open near the end of August or early September. The facility will house 49 trampolines, an enclosed dodgeball court, foam pits, battle beams and more.

“It’s basically, if you can imagine, we lift the floor up three feet and then it’s just a sea of trampolines,” Posti said. “Birthday parties will be a big hit. There’s lights and music and just great family fun. Everybody likes it.”

The ownership group also owns Jump 360 locations in Edmonton and Red Deer.

“It’s done really well in Red Deer and Kamloops is really similar to Red Deer,” Posti said.

The extreme trampoline park is not marketed as a training facility, but Posti said the park is a popular place for teams to work out. Jump 360 locations in Alberta host hockey teams for dryland training and paired up with the Central Alberta Freestyle Ski Club for off-season workouts.

Posti said they plan to start a dodgeball league at the Kamloops location once things get up and running and expects to be able to start booking parties in mid August.
