Trampoline Development History

The pioneer of the modern flexible trampoline was the French acrobat Du Trampolin, who built a protective net with hemp rope to enhance the safety of the "air swing" and used the elasticity of the net to cast the actors into the air, Kind of action. In the 1930s, American diving champion George Nissen produced a trampoline similar to the one used today to help with his diving and rollover training. Later he founded the Nissen Trampoline Company. During the Second World War, the United States used trampoline training pilots and pilots positioning skills, and achieved good results, then gradually become a sport, in the United States of secondary schools, universities extensively. In 1947 the United States held the first national trampoline exhibition in Texas, since 1948 was included in the official competition, after the introduction of Europe. In 1958, the UK started the All England Trampoline Championship. In 1964, the first World Trampoline Championship was held in the UK. In 1969, the first European Trampoline Championship was held in Paris, France. In 1999, the International Trampoline Federation became an association of international gymnastics, and in 2000 the 27th Olympic Games to become an official event, set up male and female two projects, each project 12 athletes to participate in the competition.
